The Bulldogs provide tackle football for Atom, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget football players who live in Calgary south of Anderson Road and west of MacLeod Trail. The Bulldogs are one of the most successful football programs in Calgary with a Provincial Championship, three Provincial Finalist, five City Championship and two City Finalist teams in the last four years.

Season & Playoffs

PEE-WEE and BANTAM:

Regular season play for the Bantam and Pee Wee programs usually begins in early September. Depending on how well the team does, play-offs may last until mid-November. Most games are played on Saturdays although
some may be played on week nights due to scheduling constraints.

Both Leagues compete with other teams on a regulation size field. The leagues are governed by the Canadian Amateur Football Association under the direction of Football Alberta. There are 4 quarters per game, 12 minutes in duration. The leagues compete on a Tier I, II, III level at the Provincial Championships.

Bantam and Pee-Wee Games are held at Shouldice Athletic Park located at 1515 Home Road NW. (Maps)

ATOM:

The Atom program is non-competitive and there are no standings kept and they do not have play-offs.

Atom games are usually held at the Shriner’s Field in NW Calgary on Saturdays or Sundays. (Maps)
