CSFA - Calgary Spring Football About Spring Bulldogs

Spring League Program: grades 9, 10 & 11

Established in 2003, the Calgary Spring Football Association is the premiere spring league in Canada. The Bulldogs Spring League team has competed in the league for almost twenty years.

As with all levels of football in the Bulldogs family, the spring team prides itself on developing our athletes on and off the field. We have a standard of excellence for our athletes that we hope stays with them beyond football. Many of our players have gone on to play football at the USports and CJFL levels. A number of Bulldogs, such as Sam Hurl and Mark Dewitt, have played professional football in the CFL.

Our players range from grades 9-11 and our season goes from March - June. Typically, the spring team begins indoor practices in February. Registration occurs in January/February of each year.

Feb 8, 2025 – 3-4:45pm – Okotoks Regional Field House 125 Field House Dr E, Aldersyde, AB

Feb 22, 2025 – 2-4pm – Okotoks Regional Field House 125 Field House Dr E, Aldersyde, AB

Feb 23, 2025 – 2:30-4:30pm – Okotoks Regional Field House 125 Field House Dr E, Aldersyde, AB

Official Tryout Dates:

Mar 1, 2025 – 4-6pm – Okotoks Regional Field House 125 Field House Dr E, Aldersyde, AB

Mar 2, 2025 – 9:45-11:45am – Okotoks Regional Field House 125 Field House Dr E, Aldersyde, AB

Equipment:

All equipment will be provided except mouthguard, girdle and cleats.

Girdles will be available for a fee on request.

Bonds:

We will collect cheques for the following as bonds.

Fundraising Bond: $250

Volunteer Bond: $250

Equipment Bond: $750

All cheques will be returned or shredded at the end of the season if all items are fulfilled and returned.
